A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be discovered

As part of Edinburgh STYLE at St James Quarter, Colours Agency is hosting a special scouting weekend at Bonnie & Wild, one of Edinburgh’s most popular food halls, on Friday, March 28th, and Saturday, March 29th. The best part? Those who stand out could land the opportunity to walk in a prestigious runway show hosted by Grazia on Saturday, March 29th.

For aspiring models looking to break into the industry, this is a rare chance to be seen by Scotland’s leading model scouts in an open and accessible space. No prior experience? No problem. Colours Agency is looking for raw talent, individuality, and potential, not polished portfolios or runway experience.

What to expect at the Colours Agency scouting weekend

Taking place in the buzzing Bonnie & Wild food hall inside St James Quarter, this event goes beyond traditional model casting. You’ll also have the chance to:

  • Meet top industry scouts from Colours Agency and get a feel for what they’re looking for.
  • Gain invaluable insights into the modelling industry, straight from the experts.
  • Potentially get signed by one of Scotland’s most prestigious model agencies.
  • Be considered for an exclusive runway show in collaboration with Grazia.

Alison Bruce, co-owner and director of Colours Agency, is thrilled about the partnership: “Scotland is full of incredible talent, and this event allows us to find fresh new faces in an exciting and accessible way. Our partnership with Bonnie & Wild creates a welcoming, stylish environment where aspiring models can take their first steps into the industry.”

Who can attend the Colours Agency scouting event?

This event is open to aspiring models of all ages. Whether you’re a teenager dreaming of runway success, a career-changer exploring new opportunities, or someone with a unique look that deserves to be seen, Colours Agency is looking for diversity, personality, and potential. You don’t need professional photos or experience; just bring confidence and a willingness to learn.

Some of the qualities that could catch a scout’s eye:

  • Strong bone structure and natural beauty
  • A unique look that stands out
  • Height and proportions suited to high fashion, editorial, or commercial work
  • Confidence and personality that shines through in front of the camera
  • A great attitude and eagerness to learn

What else is happening at Bonnie & Wild?

There’s lots more going on. On Sunday, March 30th, Bonnie & Wild will also host a sold-out (you can still join the waitlist) VIP Champagne Brunch and “In Conversation” event with top Scottish fashion designer Siobhan Mackenzie. Known for dressing everyone from Justin Bieber to Shania Twain and Scotland’s Commonwealth team, Siobhan will share her journey from teenage sketches to major career breakthroughs. Hosted by radio presenter Jennifer Reoch, the event will also feature an exhibition of her most celebrated designs.

Siobhan Mackenzie says: “I’m really excited about hosting this Champagne brunch and Q&A at Bonnie & Wild as part of Edinburgh STYLE. It’s a beautiful space, and I can’t wait to share my work and chat with guests about the world of fashion design.”
