Ballintaggart Farm

Looking for the perfect autumnal escape? Two of Scotland’s most beloved brands—Isle of Harris Distillery and Ballintaggart Farm—are joining forces to host a one-of-a-kind Autumn Feast Night. This exclusive dinner experience will take place at Ballintaggart Farm in Perthshire, offering a cosy, seasonal celebration of Scottish flavours paired with premium gin and whisky.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Perthshire countryside, the event will be held on Friday, 1st November 2024. Guests will enjoy three delicious courses inspired by the best of Scotland’s natural larder, with each dish thoughtfully paired with Isle of Harris Gin or The Hearach Single Malt Whisky, crafted on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides.

The evening begins with freshly baked sourdough from Ballintaggart’s own kitchen, paired with Perello olives and Great Glen charcuterie. From there, the feast continues with Isle of Lewis mussels in a Goan curry with a seaweed scone, perfectly accompanied by a refreshing Isle of Harris Gin & Tonic featuring Sugar Kelp Water and pink grapefruit.

For the main course, guests can expect a flavoursome dish of venison loin served with hash browns, apple and sprout slaw, and smoked yoghurt. This will be paired with the ‘Island Orchard’ highball, a blend of Isle of Harris Gin, pear Cognac, lime, and cloudy apple—a perfect match for the sweet orchard fruits of the season.

To finish the meal, a dessert of caramel rice pudding with ginger shortbread and burnt orange will be served alongside an Old Fashioned cocktail made with The Hearach Single Malt Whisky. And for a final touch of indulgence, guests will be invited to toast marshmallows under the stars with a dram of The Hearach’s newest Oloroso Cask Matured whisky.
