The Halloween cocktail experience in Glasgow to book now

- Forget pumpkin spice — this Halloween in Glasgow is all about radioactive-green potions, blood-red serves and a bar that looks like it’s stepped straight out of a horror movie.

Gemma has a background in newspapers and PR, working across…
Somewhere by Nico has gone full horror. The Byres Road bar is serving The House of Horrors — a five-course cocktail experience that drags you straight into cinema’s darkest moments.
On the menu: Activator Serum, a radioactive green nod to The Substance; Xeno Excretion, jet-black and alien in spirit; Valak the Defiler, a sharp hit from The Conjuring; and Crimson Drain, a blood-red serve straight from IT.
Adding to the tension, some cocktail courses are gamified, challenging guests’ senses and nerves as much as their taste buds.
The Byres Road bar itself will take on a Halloween edge — think creeping smoke, saturated red lighting and an unsettling atmosphere — but the real theatre is in the cocktails, each designed to drag you into a different horror story.
“We wanted to push the Halloween experience further than ever before,” says Annie Gaddis, Head of Social and Content at Somewhere by Nico. “The House of Horrors isn’t just a cocktail menu, it’s an interactive, story-driven journey through the films that terrify us most.”
At £39pp, it’s one of the most original Halloween events in Glasgow this year. Book before 2 November — or miss it.
