Isle of Skye’s iconic distillery to offer exclusive tastings, tours, and adventures on Talisker Day, September 13th

Talisker, the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye, is inviting whisky lovers and adventurous spirits alike to a series of exclusive events during the annual Hebridean Whisky Festival, running from 9-14 September. Mark your calendars for Talisker Day on 13th September, where a stunning array of experiences will immerse guests in the rich heritage and unique character of Talisker whisky, including the distillery’s first-ever limited-edition festival bottling.

Bottling Experience: Fill your own 9-Year-Old Recharred Red Wine Cask whisky, with notes of orchard fruits, sweet berries, and a peaty, aromatic finish. Available at the festival retail area.

Leigh Aitken, Brand Home Manager, shares her enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to welcome guests to explore Talisker’s deep connection to Skye and enjoy everything this stunning island has to offer. It’s a pleasure to join six other local distilleries in celebrating the Hebridean Whisky Trail for the seventh year.”

Festivalgoers can look forward to live performances from talented local musicians, including Kathleen MacDonald and Iona Reid (12pm), Ali McFarlance (1:30pm), Eosaph Chaimbeaul (3pm), and Angus Mackenzie (4:30pm). Outdoor seating, an enticing new ‘Made by the Sea’ menu from the renowned Three Chimneys, a chic retail offering for those wanting a piece of Talisker to take home, and a whisky bar are just the beginning of what promises to be a truly magical celebration.
