Over the past 10 years, Alice Hinds has written for a range of newspapers and magazines, covering everything from live events and celebrity interviews to shopping trends and opinion columns. With her writing, she likes to "find the human side to every story" and is always looking for new trends to explore. She lives in Glasgow with her partner, and spends her free time cooking, watching too much TV, and going to the gym as much as her dodgy knees will allow.

Gemma launched Quine Magazine in 2023, after working in newspapers and in PR for fashion, lifestyle and luxury brands in the UK. She realised that there was a gap in Scotland for a publication that catered to the needs and interests of modern Scottish women, especially millennial and Gen Z. Gemma is passionate about celebrating Scottish talent, culture and creativity, and giving a voice to the diverse and dynamic women who make up this amazing country. She is also obsessed with fashion, loves coffee, likes trying out new skin treatments and wellness therapies.
