Celebrate Samhain with Five March and Edinburgh Gin

Where: Five March, Elderslie Street
When: Sunday 9 November
To mark the turning of the seasons, one of Glasgow’s most loved West End restaurants is hosting a Samhain celebration feast — and it’s one to get in the diary fast.
Five March is teaming up with Edinburgh Gin to mark the end of harvest season and launch their new winter menu with a five-course long-table supper. Inspired by the Gaelic tradition of gathering at the start of the darker months, the event invites guests to share a menu of seasonal dishes — from brie de meux with hot honey and squash and nduja croquette to confit duck leg with spiced cherry and a burnt honey panna cotta with roast figs.
Each course will be paired with a bespoke gin serve, crafted by head bartender David Anderson (@home_sweet_spirits) using Edinburgh Gin’s collection of small-batch spirits. Expect flavours ranging from Seaside and Elderflower to Strawberry & Pink Peppercorn.
Tickets are £65 per person, including five courses and drinks, with sittings in the afternoon and evening. Vegetarian options are available.
