Aldi is continuing its mission to make wellness trends more accessible – and this month, it’s fitness equipment that’s getting the budget treatment.
From Thursday 21st August, the supermarket will be stocking a new Specialbuys range that includes battle ropes, weighted bags, kettlebells and foldable mats, alongside a massage gun priced at just £19.99.

It’s not the first time Aldi has tapped into the wellness boom. Earlier this year, its £149.99 reformer-style Pilates machine caused a stir, selling out almost instantly thanks to a price tag that was a fraction of the £1,000+ studio versions.
The new collection follows a similar theme: taking equipment usually associated with gym memberships or boutique classes and bringing it into reach for anyone who wants to try training at home.
Functional training – think Hyrox and CrossFit-inspired workouts – has gone mainstream, with battle ropes and weighted bags now a regular feature on TikTok and in boutique gyms.
By offering affordable versions, Aldi is giving anyone the chance to experiment at home, whether you’re looking to add variety to your workouts or simply want reliable kit for recovery.

The massage gun alone – priced under £20 – is likely to be a bestseller, while the foldable mat is a smart option for anyone tight on space.
