This four-course feast takes you through some of the ‘Best of British’ dishes from Rosie’s book. It’s a BYOB affair, so bring your favourite wine, beer, or whatever suits your fancy. This dinner party is all about relaxed vibes and great food, without the stress.
Rosie’s cookbook, Good Time Cooking, is your go-to guide for effortless entertaining. With over 90 recipes spread across 20 vibrant menus, she’s got you covered for every occasion—from date-night dinners to that first BBQ of the summer.
Each menu is crafted to make your life easier, with curated time plans and prep tips that let you shine in the kitchen without breaking a sweat. Whether it’s ‘The Game is On One’ with Scotch Bonnet, Honey and Lime Wings and Chocolate Cream Pie, or ‘The Two Hours Notice One’ with Rigatoni Ai Quattro Formaggi and Raspberry, Orange and Campari Pavlova, Rosie’s dishes are all about impressing your guests while keeping things simple and stress-free.
Rosie MacKean is no stranger to the kitchen—after completing chef training and working in London kitchens for two years, she turned her passion for cookery books and shows into a career as a freelance chef, food stylist, home economist, and recipe developer.
Known for her vibrant, celebratory, and highly cookable dishes, Rosie’s expert knowledge and experience shine through in every recipe. She lives in Hackney, speaks Spanish, Italian, and French, and when she’s not working, you’ll find her either cooking or eating—her lifelong obsession.
Her menus in Good Time Cooking are designed to help hosts feel confident, teaching them what to prepare in advance, how to create a smooth flow in the kitchen, and above all, how to enjoy their own parties.
With tips from her time in busy London kitchens, Rosie knows all about how to plan ahead, keep your cool, and actually enjoy your own dinner party. The book’s detailed time plans can start three days in advance, so you can break down the prep into manageable chunks and focus on having a good time. You’ll be able to mix and match dishes, follow curated menus, or create your own culinary masterpiece with the confidence that every recipe has been crafted for ease and enjoyment.
The dinner kicks off at 7:30 PM at Kitchen Table by Twelve Triangles, 22-24 Easter Road. Tickets are £45 per person, and with limited spots available, you’ll want to grab yours quick. Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.co.uk.
