Edinburgh’s bar scene just got a stylish upgrade with the launch of LOCHRIN, a sleek cocktail bar perched on the top floor of the Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge in Freer Gait, near the city centre.
Following a significant investment, this lavish, moody, and opulent spot is set to become the go-to for locals and visitors alike.

Named after an 18th-century gin distillery founded by James Haig, Lochrin pays homage to the industrial heritage of Fountainbridge. This historical nod adds a layer of depth to the experience, blending the old with the new in a unique setting.
“We’ve invested heavily into creating something very different for Edinburgh,” says Wayne Androliakos, Regional Director of Operations. “Once you step out of the lift and onto the 6th floor, guests will be transported to an eclectic bar where they can enjoy their choice of drinks while soaking in the incredible views across the city.
