1. Lush Spa, Buchanan Street

Courtesey of Lush

Lush Spa, renowned for their immersive spa experiences, has finally launched in Glasgow along with a Scotland-themed treatment at their Glasgow and Edinburgh locations. Guests can indulge in a sensory journey through Scotland’s landscapes and traditions, promising a rejuvenating experience like no other.

The new 60-minute ‘The Highlands’ experience begins with a Scottish stone consultation, using 250 million-year-old Scottish marble carved with ancient symbols representing different states of mind. Choose ‘the river’ to ebb and flow with life’s twists, ‘simplicity’ to focus on what matters, or ‘the rainbow’ to embrace hope and joy.

Furze incense scents the treatment room, inspired by the Celtic ritual of ‘saining’ to cleanse and protect the environment. Warm stones, applied with a solid massage oil bar infused with mugwort, settle the nervous system, as clients embark on a journey across the magic of ‘The Highlands’ from the heart of Glasgow. From the heather and birdsong to the vigorous massage movements resembling hiking up a mountain, it’s an experience of rejuvenation.

Inspired by Scotland’s geological history, natural basalt hot stones massage the body from head to toe, while bespoke Gaelic songs sung by traditional Highlands-based artists guide clients towards inner wisdom and peace. As a final touch, a warming Scottish tea infused with heather leaves guests feeling comforted and relaxed.

Scotland’s exceptional, fresh seafood takes centre stage at Sole Club, nestled in the heart of Finnieston. While seafood is often associated with coastal areas, Sole Club is redefining the traditional chippie experience in Glasgow with its innovative offerings.

At the front, guests can indulge in an elevated chippy experience, where grease is left behind in favour of perfectly crafted monkfish Kiev’s, the “ultimate” fish finger butty with fennel slaw and tartare sauce, and delectable lobster rolls.

Meanwhile, tucked away at the back is a hidden speakeasy-style fish restaurant, serving up small plates with a rotating menu based on the day’s fresh catch. Complementing these dishes is an extensive wine list, ensuring a truly unique dining experience.

But perhaps the most exciting addition to Glasgow’s cultural landscape is the return of LUNCH Concept Store. Representing over 60 independent designers, LUNCH curates upcoming fashion and accessories designers from around the world, with a focus on spotlighting emerging Scottish talent. Their spring pop-up at New Glasgow Society will showcase the latest pieces from their designers, providing visitors with the opportunity to browse new designs by artists both upcoming and established.

Each designer stocked at LUNCH is an independent maker, conceptualising and crafting their designs in small teams or singularly. Many emerging Scottish designers will be joining them for the first time at this upcoming event, from March 28th – April 4th.

Founded by Bethany Grace and Tamara Turnbull, LUNCH works with made-to-order and small batch production designers to prioritise a methodical, sustainable approach to dressing. Seasonless and unmoved by trends, LUNCH is for those who desire authenticity and artistry from the items they wear.
