CHANEL returns to Edinburgh to paint the town rouge

Chanel Edinburgh boutique pop up No. 8 Charlotte Square

Beauty lovers are in for a treat as CHANEL returns to Edinburgh this March for an unmissable pop-up experience.

Following the resounding success of their debut ephemeral boutique in Edinburgh last year, which showcased their Métiers d’art 2022/23 collection alongside an array of luxury offerings, the French luxury house is back in the capital, promising to éblouir once more.

A city cherished by none other than Gabrielle Chanel herself, Edinburgh served as a wellspring of inspiration for the iconic designer, fostering a deep connection both aesthetically and professionally.

Gabrielle Chanel’s deep affection for our country, rooted in our breath-taking landscapes and rich cultural heritage, serves as the inspiration behind every detail of the brand-new pop-up experience opening in March.

From the exquisite tweed furnishings to the evocative fragrance of Scottish heather, CHANEL invites guests to discover the essence of Scottish elegance within the walls of the prestigious No. 8 Charlotte Square.

The historic building, designed by the renowned Robert Adam, has been meticulously reimagined to showcase CHANEL’s latest offering: the Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche collection. As the sun sets and the city comes alive with the promise of an unforgettable night, CHANEL invites you on an exclusive journey through the world of night-time beauty.

The collection is a mesmerising array of limited-edition, luminous matte lipsticks available in eight exclusive shades. Each shade, carefully curated to represent a different hour of the night, breaks free from daytime conventions, adorning lips with hues made for an unforgettable evening. From sultry midnight blacks to soft, romantic dusky pinks, there’s a shade to complement every mood and occasion.

Set across two floors, guests will be welcomed by CHANEL beauty experts who will guide them through an interactive (and Insta-worthy) exploration of the pop-up experience.

The journey begins in the cinema, where visitors are treated to the Nuit Blanche campaign film, starring Margot Robbie, immersing them in the world of CHANEL’s nocturnal beauty.

Following on, CHANEL beauty advisors stand ready to assist, inviting guests to play with an interactive digital clock and discover their signature lipstick shades.
