How to make this Irn Bru cocktail at home – Quine Magazine

Bru and Stormy Turtle Bay Glasgow Cocktail

As Turtle Bay brings its Caribbean Good Vibes to Glasgow, the much-anticipated ‘Bru & Stormy’ cocktail has arrived, marrying the warmth of the Caribbean with Glasgow’s unique spirit. This sweet and spicy highball is a delightful fusion of traditional Scottish elements and Caribbean cocktail flavours, making it the perfect choice for festive nights in with your girlfriends or lively celebrations.

Here’s how to make it at home…

Ingredients:

  • 25ml RedLeg spiced rum
  • 25ml Falernum
  • 200ml Irn Bru (roughly)
  • 2 dashes of bitters
  • Lime wheel to garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add cubed ice to a highball glass with RedLeg Spiced Rum and Falernum.
  2. Stir well with a bar spoon until the glass is cold to the touch.
  3. Add more cubed ice to the top of the glass.
  4. Top up with Irn Bru.
  5. Garnish with 2 dashes of bitters and a lime wheel.
  6. Serve with a straw.
