Glasgow’s new boutique hotel The Address, promises elevated luxury

New opening coming to Glasgow

Family-owned hotel group, The Address Collective, has announced plans to open its first location in Scotland, bringing new luxury boutique accommodation to Glasgow’s city centre.

The Address Glasgow Hotel

Set to open in early 2024, The Address Glasgow will feature 95 beautifully-designed rooms and suites, available from £159 per night, and visitors can also expect a wellness spa, complete with gym, plunge pool, heated loungers and a Himalayan salt rock sauna.

Located on Renfield Street within a classical listed building originally designed for the Lancashire Insurance Company in the 1890s, the hotel’s open-plan bar and eatery, North, will serve up delicious food and crafted cocktails for both guests and visitors.

Marking a £9 million investment, the family say their aim was to create an “address like no other” and hope the hotel becomes a state-of-the-art, luxe urban retreat for locals and tourists alike.

“Our commitment to the city of Glasgow goes beyond hospitality,” said co-owner Brian McGettigan. “We’re creating over 80 jobs and investing in the local community because we believe in the bright future of this dynamic city.

“We’ve chosen Glasgow because we love the people, the culture and can’t wait to raise the bar for luxury stays in Scotland.”

The Address Glasgow joins The Address Collective locations in Dublin, Cork and Sligo, and is the fifth hotel for Irish hoteliers, Brian and Ciara McGettigan.
